Depending on the school you attend and whether or not you have earned any prior college credits, you should be able to finish an ADN program in at least two years. During your training, you will learn the many aspects of a career as a registered nurse. Some of the requirements you may need to meet prior to entering an ADN program include submitting to a health exam and passing your school's nursing program entry test. After finishing your program and earning your degree, you can take your NCLEX for RNs.
The NCLEX-RN is short for National Council Licensure Exam for Registered Nurses and consists of two sections: a computerized theoretical test and a practical skills evaluation, which is typically conducted in a clinical setting.
